Loving one another with the charity of brotherhood: with honour preventing one another.

Now, we that are stronger ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves.

Let every one of you Please his neighbour unto good, to edification.

For Christ did not please himself: but, as it is written: The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell upon me.

For whereas I was free as to all, I made myself the servant of all, that I might gain the more.

And I became to the Jews a Jew, that I might gain the Jews:

To them that are under the law, as if I were under the law, (whereas myself was not under the law,) that I might gain them that were under the law. To them that were without the law, as if I were without the law, (whereas I was not without the law of God, but was in the law of Christ,) that I might gain them that were without the law.

To the weak I became weak, that I might gain the weak. I became all things to all men, that I might save all.

And I do all things for the gospel's sake, that I may be made partaker thereof.

Let no man seek his own, but that which is another's.

As I also in all things please all men, not seeking that which is profitable to myself but to many: that they may be saved.

Charity is patient, is kind: charity envieth not, dealeth not perversely, is not puffed up,

Is not ambitious, seeketh not her own, is not provoked to anger, thinketh no evil:

For the charity of Christ presseth us: judging this, that if one died for all, then all were dead.

And Christ died for all: that they also who live may not now live to themselves, but unto him who died for them and rose again.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that being rich he became poor for your sakes: that through his poverty you might be rich.

Let nothing be done through contention: neither by vain glory. But in humility, let each esteem others better than themselves:

Each one not considering the things that are his own, but those that are other men's.

If then you fulfil the royal law, according to the scriptures: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself; you do well.
