  1. If any man commit adultery with the wife of another, and defile his neighbour's wife: let them be put to death, both the adulterer and the adulteress.

  2. If a man lie with his stepmother, and discover the nakedness of his father, let them both be put to death: their blood be upon them.

  3. If any man lie with his daughter in law: let both die, because they have done a heinous crime. Their blood be upon them.

  9. If any man lie with a woman in her flowers, and uncover her nakedness, and she open the fountain of her blood: both shall be destroyed out of the midst of their people.

  10. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy aunt by thy mother, and of thy aunt by thy father. He that doth this, hath uncovered the shame of his own flesh: both shall bear their iniquity.

  11. If any man lie with the wife of his uncle by the father, or of his uncle by the mother, and uncover the shame of his near akin, both shall bear their sin. They shall die without children.

  12. He that marrieth his brother's wife, doth an unlawful thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness. They shall be without children.

  13. The man of the seed of Aaron, that is a leper, or that suffereth a running of the seed, shall not eat of those things that are sanctified to me, until he be healed. He that toucheth any thing unclean by occasion of the dead: and he whose seed goeth from him as in generation:

  14. And he that toucheth a creeping thing, or any unclean thing, the touching of which is defiling:

  15. Shall be unclean until the evening, and shall not eat those things that are sanctified. But when he hath washed his flesh with water,

  16. And the sun is down, then being purified, he shall eat of the sanctified things, because it is his meat.

  17. That which dieth of itself, and that which was taken by a beast, they shall not eat, nor be defiled therewith. I am the Lord.

  18. Command the children of Israel, that they cast out of the camp every leper, and whosoever hath an issue of seed, or is defiled by the dead:

  19. Whether it be man or woman, cast ye them out of the camp, lest they defile it when I shall dwell with you,

  20. And the children of Israel did so, and they cast them forth without the camp, as the Lord had spoken to Moses.

  21. But behold some who were unclean by occasion of the soul of a man, who could not make the phase on that day, coming to Moses and Aaron,

  22. Say to the children of Israel: The man that shall be unclean by occasion of one that is dead, or shall be in a journey afar off in your nation, let him make the phase to the Lord.

  23. And thou shalt say to the people: Be ye sanctified: to morrow you shall eat flesh: for I have heard you say: Who will give us flesh to eat? It was well with us in Egypt. That the Lord may give you flesh, and you may eat:

  24. Not for one day, nor two, nor five, nor ten, no nor for twenty.

  25. But even for a month of days, till it come out at your nostrils, and become loathsome to you, because you have cast off the Lord, who is in the midst of you, and have wept before him, saying: Why came we out of Egypt?
