  1. If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress must surely be put to death.

  9. If a man lies with a menstruating woman and has sexual relations with her, he has exposed the source of her flow, and she has uncovered the source of her blood. Both of them must be cut off from among their people.

  10. You must not have sexual relations with the sister of your mother or your father, for it is exposing one’s own kin; both shall bear their iniquity.

  11. If a man lies with his uncle’s wife, he has uncovered the nakedness of his uncle. They will bear their sin; they shall die childless.

  12. If a man marries his brother’s wife, it is an act of impurity. He has uncovered the nakedness of his brother; they shall be childless.

  13. If a descendant of Aaron has a skin disease or a discharge, he may not eat the sacred offerings until he is clean. Whoever touches anything defiled by a corpse or by a man who has an emission of semen,

  14. or whoever touches a crawling creature or a person that makes him unclean, whatever the uncleanness may be—

  15. the man who touches any of these will remain unclean until evening. He must not eat from the sacred offerings unless he has bathed himself with water.

  16. When the sun has set, he will become clean, and then he may eat from the sacred offerings, for they are his food.

  17. He must not eat anything found dead or torn by wild animals, which would make him unclean. I am the LORD.

  18. “Command the Israelites to send away from the camp anyone with a skin disease, anyone who has a bodily discharge, and anyone who is defiled by a dead body.

  19. You must send away male and female alike; send them outside the camp so they will not defile their camp, where I dwell among them.”

  20. So the Israelites did this, sending such people outside the camp. They did just as the LORD had instructed Moses.

  21. But there were some men who were unclean due to a dead body, so they could not observe the Passover on that day. And they came before Moses and Aaron that same day

  22. “Tell the Israelites: ‘When any one of you or your descendants is unclean because of a dead body, or is away on a journey, he may still observe the Passover to the LORD.

  23. And say to the people: Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, and you will eat meat, because you have cried out in the hearing of the LORD, saying: ‘Who will feed us meat? For we were better off in Egypt!’ Therefore the LORD will give you meat, and you will eat.

  24. You will eat it not for one or two days, nor for five or ten or twenty days,

  25. but for a whole month—until it comes out of your nostrils and makes you nauseous—because you have rejected the LORD, who is among you, and have cried out before Him, saying, ‘Why did we ever leave Egypt?’”
