Verses on Filth, disposition of
But the flesh of the calf, and the hide and the dung, thou shalt burn abroad, without the camp, because it is for sin.
And if there remain of the consecrated flesh, or of the bread, till the morning, thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: they shall not be eaten, because they are sanctified.
But the skin and all the flesh with the head and the feet and the bowels and the dung:
And the rest of the body, he shall carry forth without the camp into a clean place where the ashes are wont to be poured out: and he shall burn them upon a pile of wood. They shall be burnt in the place where the ashes are poured out.
But the calf itself he shall carry forth without the camp, and shall burn it as he did the former calf: because it is for the sin of the multitude.
For the victim that is slain for sin, the blood of which is carried into the tabernacle of the testimony to make atonement in the sanctuary, shall not be eaten, but shall be burnt with fire.
But whatsoever shall be found on the third day shall be consumed with fire.
The flesh that hath touched any unclean thing, shall not be eaten: but shall be burnt with fire. He that is clean shall eat of it.
And the calf with the skin, and the flesh and the dung, he burnt without the camp, as the Lord had commanded.
And whatsoever shall be left of the flesh and the loaves, shall be consumed with fire.
But the flesh and skins thereof he burnt with fire without the camp.
But the calf and the buck goat, that were sacrificed for sin, and whose blood was carried into the sanctuary, to accomplish the atonement, they shall carry forth without the camp, and shall burn with fire: their skins and their flesh, and their dung.
And whosoever burneth them shall wash his clothes, and flesh with water: and so shall enter into the camp.
You shall eat it on the same day it was offered, and the next day. And whatsoever shall be left until the third day, you shall burn with fire.
Thou shalt have a place without the camp, to which thou mayst go for the necessities of nature,
Carrying a paddle at thy girdle. And when thou sittest down, thou shalt dig round about, and with the earth that is dug up thou shalt cover
For the bodies of those beasts whose blood is brought into the holies by the high priest for sin are burned without the camp.
