Bible Verses About Rome
Key Bible Verses
Salute Rufus, elect in the Lord, and his mother and mine.
Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes: and the brethren that are with them.
Salute Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympias: and all the saints that are with them.
Salute one another with an holy kiss. All the churches of Christ salute you.
Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark them who make dissensions and offences contrary to the doctrine which you have learned and avoid them.
Now, brethren, I desire you should know that the things which have happened to me have fallen out rather to the furtherance of the gospel:
So that my bands are made manifest in Christ, in all the court and in all other places.
And many of the brethren in the Lord, growing confident by my bands, are much more bold to speak the word of God without fear.
Some indeed, even out of envy and contention: but some also for good will preach Christ.
Some out of charity, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
And some out of contention preach Christ not sincerely: supposing that they raise affliction to my bands.
But what then? So that by all means, whether by occasion or by truth, Christ be preached: in this also I rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
The brethren who are with me salute you. All the saints salute you: especially they that are of Caesar's household.
The Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus: because he hath often refreshed me and hath not been ashamed of my chain:
But when he was come to Rome, he carefully sought me and found me.
Make haste to come before winter. Eubulus and Pudens and Linus and Claudia and all the brethren, salute thee.
