Bible Verses About Answers To Prayer

Thou hast rebuked the proud: they are cursed who decline from thy commandments.

Thou hast understood my thoughts afar off: my path and my line thou hast searched out.

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

Because I called, and you refused: I stretched out my hand, and there was none that regarded.

You have despised all my counsel, and have neglected my reprehensions.

Then shall they call upon me, and I will not hear: they shall rise in the morning, and shall not find me:

He that stoppeth his ear against the cry of the poor, shall also cry himself, and shall not be heard.

He that turneth away his ears from hearing the law, his prayer shall be an abomination.

And when you stretch forth your hands, I will turn away my eyes from you: and when you multiply prayer, I will not hear: for your hands are full of blood.

Therefore do not thou pray for this people, and do not take up praise and prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time of their cry to me, in the time of their affliction.

Thus saith the Lord to this people, that have loved to move their feet, and have not rested, and have not pleased the Lord: He will now remember their iniquities, and visit their sins.

When they fast I will not hear their prayers: and if they offer holocausts and victims, I will not receive them: for I will consume them by the sword, and by famine, and by the pestilence.

And you shall call upon me, and you shall go. and you shall pray to me, and I will hear you.
