So they seized him, killed him and threw him out of the vineyard.
What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come, destroy those tenants and give the vineyard to others!
Haven't you read the passage in the Tanakh that says, `The very rock which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone!
This has come from ADONAI, and in our eyes it is amazing'?"
They set about to arrest him, for they recognized that he had told the parable with reference to themselves. But they were afraid of the crowd, so they left him and went away.
because I was afraid of you — you take out what you didn’t put in, and you harvest what you didn’t plant.’
To him the master said, ‘You wicked servant! I will judge you by your own words! So you knew, did you, that I was a severe man, taking out what I didn’t put in and harvesting what I didn’t plant?
On hearing this, they began to leave, one by one, the older ones first, until he was left alone, with the woman still there.
so the commander ordered him brought into the barracks and directed that he be interrogated and whipped, in order to find out why they were yelling at him like this.
Therefore you have no excuse, whoever you are, passing judgment; for when you judge someone else, you are passing judgment against yourself; since you who are judging do the same things he does.
