  1. So He said to them again, “Truly, truly, I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.

  18. So the Jews gathered around Him and demanded, “How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

  19. “I already told you,” Jesus replied, “but you did not believe. The works I do in My Father’s name testify on My behalf.

  20. But because you are not My sheep, you refuse to believe.

  21. Jesus asked a second time, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” “Yes, Lord,” he answered, “You know I love You.” Jesus told him, “Shepherd My sheep.”

  22. Jesus asked a third time, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was deeply hurt that Jesus had asked him a third time, “Do you love Me?” “Lord, You know all things,” he replied. “You know I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.
