  19. Then the maidens will rejoice with dancing, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into joy, and give them comfort and joy for their sorrow.

  20. But I will deliver you on that day, declares the LORD, and you will not be delivered into the hands of the men whom you fear.

  21. For I will surely rescue you so that you do not fall by the sword. Because you have trusted in Me, you will escape with your life like a spoil of war, declares the LORD.’”

  22. For a nation from the north will come against her; it will make her land a desolation. No one will live in it; both man and beast will flee.”

  23. “In those days and at that time, declares the LORD, the children of Israel and the children of Judah will come together, weeping as they come, and will seek the LORD their God.

  25. Come, let us return to the LORD. For He has torn us to pieces, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bind up our wounds.
