Bible Verses About Vanity

Unto thee it was showed, that thou mightest know that Jehovah he is God; there is none else besides him.

And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified unto them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the nations that were round about them, concerning whom Jehovah had charged them that they should not do like them.

I loathe my life; I would not live alway: Let me alone; for my days are vanity.

For he knoweth false men: He seeth iniquity also, even though he consider it not.

But vain man is void of understanding, Yea, man is born as a wild ass’s colt.

I have not sat with men of falsehood; Neither will I go in with dissemblers.

I hate them that regard lying vanities; But I trust in Jehovah.

He deviseth iniquity upon his bed; He setteth himself in a way that is not good; He abhorreth not evil.

Behold, thou hast made my daysas handbreadths; And my life-time is as nothing before thee: Surely every man at his best estate is altogether vanity. [Selah

Surely every man walketh in a vain show; Surely they are disquieted in vain: He heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.

When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, Thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: Surely every man is vanity. [Selah
