  1. His seed also will I make to endure for ever, And his throne as the days of heaven.

  2. If his children forsake my law, And walk not in mine ordinances;

  3. If they break my statutes, And keep not my commandments;

  4. Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, And their iniquity with stripes.

  5. But my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, Nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

  6. My covenant will I not break, Nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

  7. Once have I sworn by my holiness: I will not lie unto David:

  10. For thus saith Jehovah of the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast my covenant:

  11. Unto them will I give in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

  12. Also the foreigners that join themselves to Jehovah, to minister unto him, and to love the name of Jehovah, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast my covenant;

  13. even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.

  14. Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

  15. not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was a husband unto them, saith Jehovah.

  16. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith Jehovah: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

  17. Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.

  18. Then shalt thou remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder sisters and thy younger; and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.

  19. And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah;

  20. that thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more, because of thy shame, when I have forgiven thee all that thou hast done, saith the Lord Jehovah.

  21. Blessedbethe Lord, the God of Israel; For he hath visited and wrought redemption for his people,

  22. And hath raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of his servant David

  23. (As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets that have been from of old),

  24. Salvation from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;

  25. To show mercy towards our fathers, And to remember his holy covenant;
