  1. ¶ He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.

  2. Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned.

  3. The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.

  23. He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

  24. The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

  25. Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
