  1. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

  2. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

  3. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

  4. ¶ A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

  11. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

  12. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

  13. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

  14. ¶ A Song of degrees. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

  15. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

  16. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

  17. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

  18. The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

  19. Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.

  20. ¶ A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

  21. Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

  22. Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.

  23. ¶ A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

  24. It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

  25. As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
