Bible Verses About The Sabbath

And ye next Sabbath day came almost the whole citie together, to heare the worde of God.

For Moses of olde time hath in euery citie them that preache him, seeing he is read in the Synagogues euery Sabbath day.

And on the Sabbath day, we went out of the citie, besides a Riuer, where they were wont to pray: and we sate downe, and spake vnto the women, which were come together.

And Paul, as his maner was, went in vnto them, and three Sabbath daies disputed with them by the Scriptures,

And he disputed in the Synagogue euery Sabbath day, and exhorted the Iewes, and the Grecians.

And the first day of the weeke, the disciples being come together to breake bread, Paul preached vnto them, ready to depart on the morrow, and continued the preaching vnto midnight.

Euery first day of the weeke, let euery one of you put aside by himselfe, and lay vp as God hath prospered him, that then there be no gatherings when I come.

For he spake in a certaine place of the seuenth day on this wise, And God did rest the seuenth day from all his workes.

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

And I was rauished in spirit on the Lordes day, and heard behinde me a great voyce, as it had bene of a trumpet,
