  1. The Lord lift vp his coutenance vpon thee, and giue thee peace.

  2. So that when he heareth the words of this curse, he blesse him selfe in his heart, saying, I shall haue peace, although I walke according to the stubburnes of mine owne heart, thus adding drunkennesse to thirst.

  3. Therefore acquaint thy selfe, I pray thee, with him, and make peace: thereby thou shalt haue prosperitie.

  11. I will hearken what the Lord God will say: for he will speake peace vnto his people, and to his Saintes, that they turne not againe to follie.

  12. They that loue thy Law, shall haue great prosperitie, and they shall haue none hurt.

  13. Her wayes are wayes of pleasure, and all her pathes prosperitie.

  14. For vnto vs a childe is borne, and vnto vs a Sonne is giuen: and the gouernement is vpon his shoulder, and he shall call his name Wonderfull, Counseller, The mightie God, The euerlasting Father, The prince of peace,

  15. By an assured purpose wilt thou preserue perfite peace, because they trusted in thee.

  16. Lord, vnto vs thou wilt ordeine peace: for thou also hast wrought all our workes for vs.

  17. Or will he feele my strength, that he may make peace with me, and be at one with me?

  18. And the worke of iustice shall bee peace, euen the worke of iustice and quietnesse, and assurance for euer.

  19. There is no peace, sayeth the Lord, vnto the wicked.

  20. How beautifull vpon the mountaines are the feete of him, that declareth and publisheth peace? that declareth good tidings, and publisheth saluation, saying vnto Zion, Thy God reigneth?

  21. But hee was wounded for our transgressions, hee was broken for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was vpon him, and with his stripes we are healed.

  22. For the mountaines shall remoue and the hilles shall fall downe: but my mercy shall not depart from thee, neither shall the couenant of my peace fall away, saith the Lord, that hath compassion on thee.

  23. And all thy children shalbe taught of the Lord, and much peace shalbe to thy children.

  24. Therefore ye shall go out with ioy, and be led forth with peace: the mountaines and the hilles shall breake foorth before you into ioye, and all the trees of the fielde shall clap their handes.

  25. Peace shall come: they shall rest in their beds, euery one that walketh before him.
