  1. And the vision of them all is become vnto you, as the wordes of a booke that is sealed vp, which they deliuer to one that can reade, saying, Reade this, I pray thee. Then shall he say, I can not: for it is sealed.

  2. And the booke is giuen vnto him that can not reade, saying, Reade this, I pray thee. And he shall say, I can not reade.

  3. Therefore wil I number you to the sword, and all you shall bowe downe to the slaughter, because I called, and ye did not answere: I spake, and ye heard not, but did euil in my sight, and did chuse that thing which I would not.

  4. They shall call them reprobate siluer, because the Lord hath reiected them.

  5. Therfore thou shalt not pray for this people, neither lift vp crie or praier for them neither intreat me, for I will not heare thee.

  6. Then sayde the Lord vnto me, Though Moses and Samuel stoode before mee, yet mine affection coulde not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them depart.

  7. They shall goe with their sheepe, and with their bullockes to seeke the Lord: but they shall not finde him: for he hath withdrawne himselfe from them.

  8. So in them is fulfilled the prophecie of Esaias, which prophecie saieth, By hearing, ye shall heare, and shall not vnderstand, and seeing, ye shall see, and shall not perceiue.

  9. For this peoples heart is waxed fat, and their eares are dull of hearing, and with their eyes they haue winked, lest they should see with their eyes, and heare with their eares, and should vnderstand with their hearts, and should returne, that I might heale them.

  10. Let them alone, they be the blinde leaders of the blinde: and if the blinde leade ye blinde, both shall fall into the ditche.

  11. And the foolish said to the wise, Giue vs of your oyle, for our lampes are out.

  12. But the wise answered, saying, Not so, lest there will not be ynough for vs and you: but goe ye rather to them that sell, and bye for your selues.

  13. And while they went to bye, the bridegrome came: and they that were readie, went in with him to the wedding, and the gate was shut.

  14. Afterwards came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to vs.

  15. But he answered, and said, Verely I say vnto you, I knowe you not.

  16. Watch therfore: for ye know neither the day, nor the houre, when the sonne of man will come.

  17. But hee that blasphemeth against the holy Ghost, shall neuer haue forgiuenesse, but is culpable of eternall damnation.

  18. Striue to enter in at the straite gate: for many, I say vnto you, will seeke to enter in, and shall not be able.

  19. When the good man of the house is risen vp, and hath shut to the doore, and ye begin to stand without, and to knocke at the doore, saying, Lord, Lord, open to vs, and he shall answere and say vnto you, I know you not whence ye are,

  20. Then shall ye begin to say, We haue eaten and drunke in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streetes.

  21. But he shall say, I tell you, I knowe you not whence ye are: depart from me, all ye workers of iniquitie.

  22. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth when ye shall see Abraham and Isaac, and Iacob, and all the Prophets in the kingdome of God, and your selues thrust out at doores.

  23. For I say vnto you, that none of those men which were bidden, shall taste of my supper.

  24. But ye beleeue not: for ye are not of my sheepe, as I sayd vnto you.

  25. While I was with them in the worlde, I kept them in thy Name: those that thou gauest me, haue I kept, and none of them is lost, but the childe of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
