  1. Surely thou art iust in all that is come vpon vs: for thou hast dealt truely, but we haue done wickedly.

  2. And our kings and our princes, our Priests and our fathers haue not done thy Lawe, nor regarded thy commandements nor thy protestations, wherewith thou hast protested among them.

  3. And they haue not serued thee in their kingdome, and in thy great goodnesse that thou shewedst vnto them, and in the large and fat lande which thou diddest set before them, and haue not conuerted from their euill workes.

  8. Come, let vs worship and fall downe, and kneele before the Lord our maker.

  11. And they that dwell in one citie, shall go to another, saying, Vp, let vs go and pray before the Lord, and seeke the Lord of hostes: I wil go also.

  12. And he departed thence, and went into their Synagogue:

  13. Againe, verely I say vnto you, that if two of you shall agree in earth vpon any thing, whatsoeuer they shall desire, it shall be giuen them of my Father which is in heauen.

  14. For where two or three are gathered together in my Name, there am I in the mids of them.

  15. And the whole multitude of the people were without in prayer, while the incense was burning.

  16. And hee came to Nazareth where hee had bene brought vp, and (as his custome was) went into the Synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stoode vp to reade.

  17. And he said vnto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father, which art in heauen, halowed be thy Name: Thy kingdome come: Let thy will be done, euen in earth, as it is in heauen:

  18. And they continued dayly with one accord in the Temple, and breaking bread at home, did eate their meate together with gladnesse and singlenesse of heart,

  19. Nowe Peter and Iohn went vp together into the Temple, at the ninth houre of prayer.

  20. And when they heard it, they lift vp their voyces to God with one accord, and said, O Lord, thou art the God which hast made the heaue, and the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them,

  21. So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer was made of ye Church vnto God for him.

  22. And as he considered the thing, he came to the house of Marie, the mother of Iohn, whose surname was Marke, where many were gathered together, and prayed.

  23. Then fasted they and prayed, and layde their hands on them, and let them goe.

  24. And it came to passe that as we went to prayer, a certaine maide hauing a spirit of diuination, mette vs, which gate her masters much vantage with diuining.

  25. For if I pray in a strange togue, my spirit prayeth: but mine vnderstading is without fruite.
