Bible Verses About Night: Favourable to the purposes of the wicked

Whatsoeuer was torne of beasts, I brought it not vnto thee, but made it good my selfe: of mine hand diddest thou require it, were it stollen by day or stollen by night.

The murtherer riseth earely and killeth the poore and the needie: and in the night he is as a theefe.

The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, and sayth, None eye shall see me, and disguiseth his face.

Came theeues to thee or robbers by night? howe wast thou brought to silence? woulde they not haue stolen, til they had ynough? if the grape gatherers came to thee, woulde they not leaue some grapes?

For ye your selues knowe perfectly, that the day of the Lord shall come, euen as a thiefe in the night.
