  11. And I made progress in the Jew's religion above many of my equals in my own nation, being more abundantly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.

  12. They are zealous in your regard not well: but they would exclude you, that you might be zealous for them.

  13. Some indeed, even out of envy and contention: but some also for good will preach Christ.

  14. Some out of charity, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

  15. And some out of contention preach Christ not sincerely: supposing that they raise affliction to my bands.

  16. But what then? So that by all means, whether by occasion or by truth, Christ be preached: in this also I rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
