And Moses fled upon this word: and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begot two sons.
Whom Jason hath received. And these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, Jesus.
And they stirred up the people: and the rulers of the city, hearing these things,
And having taken satisfaction of Jason and of the rest, they let them go.
If it be possible, as much as is in you, have peace with all men.
Therefore, let us follow after the things that are of peace and keep the things that are of edification, one towards another.
For God is not the God of dissension, but of peace: as also I teach in all the churches of the saints.
For the rest, brethren, rejoice, be perfect, take exhortation, be of one mind, have peace. And the God of grace and of love shall be with you.
Careful to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
That you esteem them more abundantly in charity, for their work's sake. Have peace with them.
Now we charge them that are such and beseech them by the Lord Jesus Christ that, working with silence, they would eat their own bread.
For kings and for all that are in high station: that we may lead a quiet and a peaceable life in all piety and chastity.
But flee thou youthful desires, and pursue justice, faith, charity and peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Follow peace with all men and holiness: without which no man shall see God.
But the wisdom that is from above, first indeed is chaste, then peaceable, modest, easy to be persuaded, consenting to the good, full of mercy and good fruits, without judging, without dissimulation.
And the fruit of justice is sown in peace, to them that make peace.
For he that will love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.
Let him decline from evil and do good: Let him seek after peace and pursue it:
