Deuteronomy 2:16

So it came to pass, when all the men ^{H582} of war ^{H4421} were consumed ^{H8552} and dead ^{H4191} from among ^{H7130} the people ^{H5971},

When all the men who were able to bear arms had died and were no longer part of the people,

Now when all the fighting men among the people had died,

So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,
