Bible Verses About Testament
Key Bible Verses
For this is my blood, which ratifies the New Covenant, my blood shed on behalf of many, so that they may have their sins forgiven.
He said to them, "This is my blood, which ratifies the New Covenant, my blood shed on behalf of many people.
He did the same with the cup after the meal, saying, “This cup is the New Covenant, ratified by my blood, which is being poured out for you.
likewise also the cup after the meal, saying, “This cup is the New Covenant effected by my blood; do this, as often as you drink it, as a memorial to me.”
For where there is a will, there must necessarily be produced evidence of its maker’s death,
since a will goes into effect only upon death; it never has force while its maker is still alive.
This is why the first covenant too was inaugurated with blood.
