  1. "You are to serve ADONAI your God; and he will bless your food and water. I will take sickness away from among you.

  19. You will be very ill from a disease in your intestines, until your intestines protrude, because of the effects of this disease, day after day.'"

  20. After all this, ADONAI struck him in his intestines with an incurable disease.

  21. But if you reach out your hand and touch his flesh and bone, without doubt he'll curse you to your face!"

  22. ADONAI said to the Adversary, "Here! He is in your hands, except that you are to spare his life."

  23. Then the Adversary went out from the presence of ADONAI and struck Iyov down with horrible infected sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.
