Psalms130

Psalm 130 opens with a fervent cry to the LORD from a state of deep distress, seeking His attentive ear. The psalmist acknowledges that if the LORD were to strictly mark iniquities, no one could stand, but finds solace in God's forgiveness. This forgiveness is presented as the very reason God is to be feared and revered.
