  1. “You are also to make an altar of acacia wood for the burning of incense.

  2. It is to be square, a cubit long, a cubit wide, and two cubits high. Its horns must be of one piece.

  21. Now Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense, and offered unauthorized fire before the LORD, contrary to His command.

  22. So fire came out from the presence of the LORD and consumed them, and they died in the presence of the LORD.

  23. Then he shall go out to the altar that is before the LORD and make atonement for it. He is to take some of the bull’s blood and some of the goat’s blood and put it on all the horns of the altar.

  24. He is to sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times to cleanse it and consecrate it from the uncleanness of the Israelites.

  25. Over the gold altar they are to spread a blue cloth, cover it with fine leather, and insert the poles.
