  1. Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; How I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty peoples,

  15. Glory ye in his holy name: Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.

  16. Seek ye Jehovah and his strength; Seek his face evermore.

  17. We have sinned with our fathers, We have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

  18. Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; They remembered not the multitude of thy lovingkindnesses, But were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.

  19. Nevertheless he regarded their distress, When he heard their cry:

  20. Save us, O Jehovah our God, And gather us from among the nations, To give thanks unto thy holy name, And to triumph in thy praise.

  21. Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he delivered them out of their distresses,

  22. He led them also by a straight way, That they might go to a city of habitation.

  23. Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he saved them out of their distresses.

  24. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And brake their bonds in sunder.

  25. Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!
