到迦流 作 亞該亞 方伯的時候,猶太人 同心 起來攻擊 保羅, 拉 他 到 公堂,
說:「 這個人 勸 人 不按著 律法 敬拜 神。」
保羅 剛要 開 口,迦流 就對 猶太人 說:「 你們這些猶太人!如果 是 為冤枉 或 奸惡 的事,我理當 耐性聽 你們。
但所爭論的,若 是 關乎 言語、 名目,和 你們的 律法,你們自己去辦吧!這樣的事 我 不 願意 審問」;
就 把他們 攆 出 公堂。
眾人 便揪住 管會堂的 所提尼,在堂 前 打他。 這些事 迦流 都不 管。
保羅 又 住了 多日,就辭別 了弟兄,坐船 往 敘利亞去; 百基拉、 亞居拉 和 他同去。他因為 許過 願,就在 堅革哩 剪了 頭髮。
