  1. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of Man.”

  14. and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”

  15. I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.

  16. They shall know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them: I am the LORD their God.

  17. For I am the LORD your God. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am holy: neither shall you defile yourselves with any kind of creeping thing that moves on the earth.

  18. For I am the LORD who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

  19. You shall not profane my holy name, but I will be made holy among the children of Israel. I am the LORD who makes you holy,

  20. who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. I am the LORD.”

  21. Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them; for I am the LORD their God;

  22. but I will for their sake remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God. I am the LORD.’”

  23. The LORD didn’t set his love on you, nor choose you, because you were more in number than any people; for you were the fewest of all peoples:

  24. but because the LORD loves you, and because he desires to keep the oath which he swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

  25. Know therefore that the LORD your God himself is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with them who love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations,
