  1. So he went and did according to the LORD’s word; for he went and lived by the brook Cherith, that is before the Jordan.

  8. for the drunkard and the glutton shall become poor; and drowsiness clothes them in rags.

  9. But there were some who were indignant among themselves, saying, “Why has this ointment been wasted?

  10. For this might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii, and given to the poor.” They grumbled against her.
