  1. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

  2. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

  3. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

  4. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

  11. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

  12. And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

  13. (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

  14. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

  15. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

  16. Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

  17. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

  18. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

  19. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

  20. To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

  21. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

  22. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

  23. Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:

  24. Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

  25. Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
