  1. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

  2. He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

  11. Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

  12. He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

  13. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

  14. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

  15. Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

  16. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

  17. Of sin, because they believe not on me;

  18. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

  19. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

  20. Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;

  21. Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

  22. But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren.

  23. But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.

  24. But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

  25. And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.
