  1. But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.

  16. Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

  20. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

  21. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  22. ¶ We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

  23. Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

  24. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

  25. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
