  1. Moreouer, thou shalt make a vaile of blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine twined linen: thou shalt make it of broydred worke with Cherubims.

  2. And thou shalt hang it vpon foure pillars of Shittim wood couered with gold, (whose hookes shalbe of gold) stading vpon foure sockets of siluer.

  3. Afterward thou shalt hang the vaile on the hookes, that thou mayest bring in thither, that is (within the vaile) the arke of the Testimonie: and the vaile shall make you a separation betweene the Holy place and the most holy place.

  7. After this sort shall Aaron come into the Holy place: euen with a yong bullocke for a sinne offring, and a ramme for a burnt offring.

  8. He made also the vaile of blew silke and purple, and crimosin, and fine linen, and wrought Cherubims thereon.

  9. But hee shall growe vp before him as a branche, and as a roote out of a dry grounde: he hath neither forme nor beautie: when we shall see him, there shall be no forme that wee should desire him.

  10. And behold, the vayle of the Temple was rent in twaine, from the top to the bottome, and the earth did quake, and the stones were cloue.

  11. And the vaile of the Temple was rent in twaine, from the toppe to the bottome.

  12. And the Sunne was darkened, and the vaile of the Temple rent through the middes.

  13. And after the seconde vaile was the Tabernacle, which is called the Holiest of all,

  14. Nowe when these things were thus ordeined, the Priestes went alwayes into the first Tabernacle, and accomplished the seruice.

  15. But into the second went the hie Priest alone, once euery yere, not without blood which hee offered for himselfe, and for the ignorances of the people.

  16. Whereby the holy Ghost this signified, that the way into ye Holiest of all was not yet opened, while as yet the first tabernacle was standing,

  17. For Christ is not entred into ye holy places that are made with hands, which are similitudes of ye true Sanctuarie: but is entred into very heauen, to appeare now in ye sight of God for vs,

  18. Seeing therefore, brethren, that by the blood of Iesus we may be bolde to enter into the Holy place,

  19. By the newe and liuing way, which hee hath prepared for vs, through the vaile, that is, his flesh:
