Bible Verses About Word of God: Inspiration of
Verses on Inspiration of
Moses came; and calling together the elders of the people, he declared all the words which the Lord had commanded.
And the Lord spoke all these words:
And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord: and rising in the morning, he built an altar at the foot of the mount, and twelve titles according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
And the Lord said to Moses: Come up to me into the mount, and be there; and I will give thee tables of stone, and the law, and the commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
In which thou shalt put the testimony that I will give thee.
And the Lord, when he had ended these words in Mount Sinai, gave to Moses two stone tables of testimony, written with the finger of God.
And made by the work of God; the writing also of God was graven in the tables.
And the Lord said to Moses: Write thee these words, by which I have made a covenant both with thee and with Israel.
And all the children of Israel came to him: and he gave them in commandment all that he had heard of the Lord on Mount Sinai.
These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
You know that I have taught you statutes and justices, as the Lord my God hath commanded me: so shall you do them in the land which you shall possess:
And he commanded me at that time that I should teach you the ceremonies and judgments which you shall do in the land, that you shall possess.
Lay up these words in your hearts and minds, and hang them for a sign on your hands, and place them between your eyes.
Now therefore write you this canticle, and teach the children of Israel: that they may know it by heart, and sing it by mouth, and this song may be unto me for a testimony among the children of Israel.
Moses therefore wrote the canticle, and taught it to the children of Israel.
And the Lord testified to them in Israel, and in Juda, by the hand of all the prophets and seers, saying: Return from your wicked ways, and keep my precepts, and ceremonies, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers: and as I have sent to you in the hand of my servants the prophets.
But the rest of the acts of Manasses, and his prayer to his God, and the words of the seers that spoke to him in the name of the Lord the God of Israel, are contained in the words of the kings of Israel.
I have not departed from the commandments of his lips, and the words of his mouth I have hid in my bosom.
How long, O Lord, wilt thou be angry for ever: shall thy zeal be kindled like a fire?
He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails deeply fastened in, which by the counsel of masters are given from one shepherd.
Therefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel: Because you have rejected this word, and have trusted in oppression and tumult, and have leaned upon it:
Therefore shall this iniquity be to you as a breach that falleth, and is found wanting in a high wall, for the destruction thereof shall come on a sudden, when it is not looked for.
Search ye diligently in the book of the Lord, and read: not one of them was wanting, one hath not sought for the other: for that which proceedeth out of my mouth, he hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
