Bible Verses About Master
Key Bible Verses
You call me Master and Lord. And you say well: for so I am.
If then I being your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; you also ought to wash one another's feet.
Now to him that worketh, the reward is not reckoned according to grace but according to debt.
And you, masters, do the same things to them, forbearing threatenings: knowing that the Lord both of them and you is in heaven. And there is no respect of persons with him.
Masters, do to your servants that which is just and equal: knowing that you also have a master in heaven.
For the scripture saith: Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn: and, The labourer is worthy of his reward.
I beseech thee for my son, whom I have begotten in my bands, Onesimus,
Who hath been heretofore unprofitable to thee but now is profitable both to me and thee:
Whom I have sent back to thee. And do thou receive him as my own bowels.
Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered to me in the bands of the gospel.
But without thy counsel I would do nothing: that thy good deed might not be as it were of necessity, but voluntary.
For perhaps he therefore departed for a season from thee that thou mightest receive him again for ever:
Not now as a servant, but instead of a servant, a most dear brother, especially to me. But how much more to thee, both in the flesh and in the Lord?
Behold the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which by fraud has been kept back by you, crieth: and the cry of them hath entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.
