Bible Verses About Heart: Unclassified scriptures descriptive of the seat of the affections
Verses on Unclassified scriptures descriptive of the seat of the affections
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole strength.
And these words which I command thee this day, shall be in thy heart:
A glad heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by grief of mind the spirit is cast down.
The heart of the wise seeketh instruction: and the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.
All the days of the poor are evil: a secure mind is like a continual feast.
The heart is perverse above all things, and unsearchable, who can know it?
I am the Lord who search the heart, and prove the reins: who give to every one according to his way, and according to the fruit of his devices.
But the things which proceed out of the mouth, come forth from the heart, and those things defile a man.
For from the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimonies, blasphemies.
These are the things that defile a man. But to eat with unwashed hands doth not defile a man.
For when the Gentiles, who have not the law, do by nature those things that are of the law; these, having not the law, are a law to themselves.
Who shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness to them: and their thoughts between themselves accusing or also defending one another,
In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.
