  1. This is what thou shalt sacrifice upon the altar: Two lambs of a year old every day continually,

  2. One lamb in the morning, and another in the evening.

  3. With one lamb a tenth part of flour tempered with beaten oil, of the fourth part of a hin, and wine for libation of the same measure.

  4. And the other lamb thou shalt offer in the evening, according to the rite of the morning oblation, and according to what we have said, for a savour of sweetness:

  5. It is a sacrifice to the Lord, by perpetual oblation unto your generations, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony before the Lord, where I will appoint to speak unto thee.

  6. And Aaron shall burn sweet smelling incense upon it in the morning. When he shall dress the lamps, he shall burn it:

  7. And when he shall place them in the evening, he shall burn an everlasting incense before the Lord throughout your generations.

  8. You shall not offer upon it incense of another composition, nor oblation, and victim, neither shall you offer libations.

  9. These are the sacrifices which you shall offer: Two lambs of a year old without blemish every day for the perpetual holocaust:

  10. One you shall offer in the mornings, and the other in the evening:

  11. And the tenth part of an ephi of flour, which shall be tempered with the, purest oil, of the measure of the fourth part of a hin.

  12. It is the continual holocaust which you offered in mount Sinai for a most sweet odour of a sacrifice by fire to the Lord.

  13. And for a libation you shall offer of wine the fourth part of a hin for every lamb in the sanctuary of the Lord.

  14. And you shall offer the other lamb in like manner in the evening according to all the rites of the morning sacrifice, and of the libations thereof, an oblation of most sweet odour to the Lord.

  15. And they kept the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the holocaust every day orderly according to the commandment, the duty of the day in its day.

  16. And afterwards the continual holocaust, both on the new moons, and on all the solemnities of the Lord, that were consecrated, and on all in which a freewill offering was made to the Lord.

  17. From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer holocausts to the Lord: but the temple of God was not yet founded.

  18. And he shall offer every day for a holocaust to the Lord, a lamb of the same year without blemish: he shall offer it always in the morning.

  19. And he shall offer the sacrifice for it morning by morning, the sixth part of an ephi: and the third part of a hin of oil to be mingled with the fine flour: a sacrifice to the Lord by ordinance continual and everlasting.

  20. He shall offer the lamb, and the sacrifice, and the oil morning by morning: an everlasting holocaust.

  21. And after sixty-two weeks Christ shall be slain: and the people that shall deny him shall not be his. And a people, with their leader, that shall come, shall destroy the city, and the sanctuary: and the end thereof shall be waste, and after the end of the war the appointed desolation.

  22. And he shall confirm the covenant with many, in one week: and in the half of the week the victim and the sacrifice shall fail: and there shall be in the temple the abomination of desolation: and the desolation shall continue even to the consummation, and to the end.
