  1. God said, “Let there be lights in the dome of the sky to divide the day from the night; let them be for signs, seasons, days and years;

  22. "May all your enemies perish like this, ADONAI; but may those who love him be like the sun going forth in its glory!" Then the land had rest for forty years.

  23. In the morning, get up early, as soon as the sun rises; and attack the city. Then, when Ga'al and the men with him come out to fight you, do whatever you can to them."

  24. Here is what ADONAI says: 'I will generate evil against you out of your own household. I will take your wives before your very eyes and give them to your neighbor; he will go to bed with your wives, and everyone will know about it.

  25. For you did it secretly, but I will do this before all Isra'el in broad daylight.'"
