  15. But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

  16. Here is what love is: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the kapparah for our sins.
