  1. When the nations heard of him, he was trapped in their pit. With hooks they led him away to the land of Egypt.

  17. Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

  21. Jesus replied, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while He is with them? But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.

  22. No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. For the patch will pull away from the garment, and a worse tear will result.

  23. Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will spill, and the wineskins will be ruined. Instead, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

  24. When an unclean spirit comes out of a man, it passes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it.
