  1. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

  2. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

  3. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into His image with intensifying glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

  4. And He has made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ

  5. as a plan for the fullness of time, to bring all things in heaven and on earth together in Christ.

  6. that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly.

  7. In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,

  8. which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets.

  9. and to illuminate for everyone the stewardship of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.

  10. will have power, together with all the saints, to comprehend the length and width and height and depth

  11. of the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

  12. Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will boldly make known the mystery of the gospel,

  13. I became its servant by the commission God gave me to fully proclaim to you the word of God,

  14. the mystery that was hidden for ages and generations but is now revealed to His saints.

  15. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

  16. that they may be encouraged in heart, knit together in love, and filled with the full riches of complete understanding, so that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ,

  17. as you pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.

  18. Pray that I may declare it clearly, as I should.

  19. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but the one who now restrains it will continue until he is taken out of the way.

  20. They must hold to the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience.

  21. By common confession, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among the nations, was believed in throughout the world, was taken up in glory.

  22. We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain, because you are dull of hearing.

  23. Concerning this salvation, the prophets who foretold the grace to come to you searched and investigated carefully,

  24. trying to determine the time and setting to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow.

  25. It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, when they foretold the things now announced by those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.
