  1. Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

  10. But in vain do they worship me, Teachingas theirdoctrines the precepts of men.

  11. Ye leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the tradition of men.

  12. And he said unto them, Full well do ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your tradition.

  21. For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses unto all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,

  22. saying, This is the blood of the covenant which God commanded to you-ward.

  23. Moreover the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry he sprinkled in like manner with the blood.

  24. And according to the law, I may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

  25. let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,
