  11. Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.

  12. The mouth of the righteous talketh of wisdom, And his tongue speaketh justice.

  13. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; And sinners shall be converted unto thee.

  14. Come, and hear, all ye that fear God, And I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

  15. O God, thou hast taught me from my youth; And hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.

  16. Yea, even when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not, Until I have declared thy strength unto the next generation, Thy might to every one that is to come.

  17. My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long; For they are put to shame, for they are confounded, that seek my hurt.

  18. I will meditate also upon all thy work, And muse on thy doings.

  19. For he established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which he commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children;

  20. That the generation to come might knowthem, even the children that should be born; Who should arise and tellthemto their children,

  21. That they might set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep his commandments,

  22. And might not be as their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that set not their heart aright, And whose spirit was not stedfast with God.

  23. He hath dispersed, he hath given to the needy; His righteousness endureth for ever: His horn shall be exalted with honor.

  24. O Jehovah, truly I am thy servant: I am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bonds.

  25. I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of Jehovah.
