Bible Verses About Nation
Key Bible Verses
They reported to the LORD’s angel who stood among the myrtle trees, and said, “We have walked back and forth through the earth, and behold, all the earth is at rest and in peace.”
In that day,’ says the LORD of Hosts, ‘you will invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.’”
Thus says the LORD of Hosts: “Old men and old women will again dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.
The streets of the city will be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.”
I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; and the battle bow will be cut off; and he will speak peace to the nations: and his dominion will be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.
Men will dwell therein, and there will be no more curse; but Jerusalem will dwell safely.
I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men:
for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
