  1. And the feast of harvest, the first fruits of your labors, which you sow in the field; and the feast of ingathering, at the end of the year, when you gather in your labors out of the field.

  2. “You shall observe the feast of weeks with the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of harvest at the year’s end.

  3. “Speak to the children of Israel, and say, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of booths for seven days to the LORD.

  4. On the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no regular work.

  5. Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular work.

  6. “‘These are the appointed feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meal offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, each on its own day;

  7. besides the Sabbaths of the LORD, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings, which you give to the LORD.

  8. “‘So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you shall keep the feast of the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.

  9. You shall take on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.

  10. You shall keep it a feast to the LORD seven days in the year. It is a statute forever throughout your generations. You shall keep it in the seventh month.

  11. You shall dwell in booths seven days. All who are native-born in Israel shall dwell in booths,

  12. that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.’”

  13. “‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no regular work. You shall keep a feast to the LORD seven days.

  14. You shall offer a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to the LORD: thirteen young bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old; all without defect;

  15. and their meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three tenth parts for every bull of the thirteen bulls, two tenth parts for each ram of the two rams,

  16. and a tenth part for every lamb of the fourteen lambs;

  17. and one male goat for a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its meal offering, and its drink offering.

  18. “‘On the second day you shall offer twelve young bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without defect;

  19. and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance;

  20. and one male goat for a sin offering; besides the continual burnt offering, with its meal offering and their drink offerings.

  21. “‘On the third day eleven bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without defect;

  22. and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance;

  23. and one male goat for a sin offering; besides the continual burnt offering, and its meal offering, and its drink offering.

  24. “‘On the fourth day ten bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without defect;

  25. their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance;
