Bible Verses About Altar

There you shall build an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones. You shall not use any iron tool on them.

You shall build the altar of the LORD your God of uncut stones. You shall offer burnt offerings on it to the LORD your God.

You shall sacrifice peace offerings, and shall eat there. You shall rejoice before the LORD your God.

Then Joshua built an altar to the LORD, the God of Israel, in Mount Ebal,

as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the scroll of the Torah of Moses, an altar of uncut stones, on which no man had lifted up any iron. They offered burnt offerings on it to the LORD, and sacrificed peace offerings.

These are the measures of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a hand breadth): the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and its border around its edge a span; and this shall be the base of the altar.
