Bible Verses About Summer: The time for labor and harvest

¶ Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,

Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

¶ He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.

The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;

The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.
