  1. Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

  2. And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

  7. And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them.

  8. And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

  9. And thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all things which I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them.

  10. And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office.

  11. And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.

  12. And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.

  13. And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD.

  14. For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:

  15. And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.

  16. And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office,

  17. ¶ And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

  18. And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.

  19. And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.

  20. And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD.

  21. ¶ And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?

  22. And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.

  23. And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)

  24. And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.

  25. And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.
