Bible Verses About Adoption: Is through Christ
Verses on Is through Christ
But to as many as did receive him, to those who put their trust in his person and power, he gave the right to become children of God,
but when the appointed time arrived, God sent forth his Son. He was born from a woman, born into a culture in which legalistic perversion of the Torah was the norm,
so that he might redeem those in subjection to this legalism and thus enable us to be made God’s sons.
He determined in advance that through Yeshua the Messiah we would be his sons — in keeping with his pleasure and purpose —
For in bringing many sons to glory, it was only fitting that God, the Creator and Preserver of everything, should bring the Initiator of their deliverance to the goal through sufferings.
Also, “I will put my trust in him, . . .” and then it goes on, “Here I am, along with the children God has given me.”
