  12. And a sanctuary I did not see in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, is its sanctuary, and the Lamb,

  13. and the city hath no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they may shine in it; for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp of it is the Lamb;

  14. and the nations of the saved in its light shall walk, and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it,

  15. and its gates shall not at all be shut by day, for night shall not be there;

  16. and they shall bring the glory and the honour of the nations into it;

  17. and there may not at all enter into it any thing defiling and doing abomination, and a lie, but--those written in the scroll of the life of the Lamb.

  18. And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, bright as crystal, going forth out of the throne of God and of the Lamb:

  19. in the midst of its broad place, and of the river on this side and on that, is a tree of life, yielding twelve fruits, in each several month rendering its fruits, and the leaves of the tree are for the service of the nations;

  20. and any curse there shall not be any more, and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him,

  21. and they shall see His face, and His name is upon their foreheads,

  22. and night shall not be there, and they have no need of a lamp and light of a sun, because the Lord God doth give them light, and they shall reign--to the ages of the ages.
